When Honor Wrestling first opened up I never in my life dreamed I'd see it explode the way that it has; to the point where we have the need to bring in a second show, after our very first showing. Everyone has shown an extreme amount of love for this fed and it's amazing and from our role players to our staff, we have thanked so many people for doing so. it seems like every other day we gain more and more people thanks word of mouth or by coming across us on either twitter or google. When people said that the separate rosters wouldn't work it made us want to really prove our vision for the fed and these divisions to everyone; and low and behold because of everyone here, we have done this so pat yourselves on your backs.
Honor Wrestling is meant to be different. We will continue to do this by the following announcement. As our Honor & Ladies Championship tournaments are rounding down to their respective finals and our planned announcement regarding the Prestige Championship, we are proud to announce that we will be bringing in the Crusierweight Championship for anyone under 220 pounds. The Crusierweight Championship & Honor Championship will not be allowed to be held at the same time, just like the rest of our championships, to make sure that everyone has a chance at winning something here. In addition to this, The Iron Maiden championship announcement was a big one and will begin shortly as we set things up for the championship. On the men's side we will be setting up a X-Core Championship which is a hardcore / X-Division type championship.
On September 10, 2016 we will have our first ever draft where roster's will be drafted to either Showdown or to Mayhem. Each member will be drafted, there will be small surprises to make things more fun for everyone as we announce each draft pick as they come in via @honorwrestling on twitter. Each show will be given a select roster exclusive to them as well as championships for the roster to compete for. There will be two men's championships per brand as well as two women's championships per brand. The Honor Championship, Ladies Championship & Crusierweight Championship will NOT be exclusive to any one brand. The champion may appear on both shows as well as defend the title on both shows but not during the same week (if defending).
Each brand will have their own respective General Manager's that will run the shows (Story line) and Zack Goldman will slowly become behind the scenes and appear in front of the camera for big story lines or major announcements. In the story lines, the General Manager's will be the ones running the shows and as of this writing the GM's for the shows will be myself and Ana under different characters until we get more help for the writing of the shows and so forth.
Our first PPV, WrestleBowl is on September 18, 2016 and after that the roster split will be in effect moving forward. The roster section will get a remake with a red or blue background. Yes I know Blue! We tried different colors and nothing seemed to work for us that made sense so we will be using the Blue and Red as brand colors unfortunately.
The above logo will replace the logo we have now to reflect the changes after September 18th. The shows will remain on Wednesday nights with the role play deadline being on Tuesday's. The first card of the brand era will be on October 5, 2016. The General Manager of this brand will be announced at a later time. In addition to each show having their respected General Manager's, they will also have their own backstage staff as well as announce team.
The above logo will replace the logo we have now to reflect the changes after September 18th. The shows will remain on Friday nights with the role play deadline being on Thursday's. WRESTLEBOWL! LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS! If you're going to be in Las Vegas on the 18th of September come out and catch the very first pay per view hosted by Honor Wrestling. We will see NEW champions crowned as we will see the first ever Honor Champion & Ladies Champion crowd. Could there more champions crowned that night? This is a very real possibility. This is the last night before the brand split! History will be made..where will you be?
Honor Wrestling is proud to announce, Legacy Wrestling! What is Legacy? Where do you start your career, where do you build you Legacy? From the ground up of course. As we introduce Legacy Wrestling, @_LeaveALegacy_ on twitter it will be a one of a kind developmental program for entry into Honor Wrestling. You start your career here and you move up the ranks onto the main roster. Majority of new sign ups, and the reason we say majority is because some will be issued Legend Contracts or a standard contract straight to the main roster. This will NOT effect you as you build your character up the ranks within the walls of Honor Wrestling.
We will have two contracts being offered in Legacy Wrestling, the first is a contract for rookies (Developmental Contract) who are the people wanting to develop new characters that they're on the fence about. The second contract is a Legacy Contract which is for people wanting to be 'called up' to Honor Wrestling's ShowDown or Mayhem shows. You must role play at least 4 shows before asking to be called up. If you no show you could have to redo your 4 shows. We will not just move you up, you must ask for it as some may enjoy the style of Legacy, compared to working on one of the Honor's shows. A side note about the Developmental contract is that if you want the character to stick around in Legacy, but want them to be placed with a Legacy contract we can do that as well, a Legacy contract itself does not mean you HAVE to be called up, but that the option to request it is there.
Will there be championships? Yes there will be. There will be a men's championship and a women's championship. If Legacy Wrestling begins to fill up we will consider adding more championships. Only people under a Legacy Contract will be allowed to fight for championships (This is to keep the focus of purely developmental contracts to be on developing your character). If they wish to be called up to the main rosters than they will need to drop said championship before being moved up.
There will be NO sponsorships for Legacy Wrestling at this time, this could change down the line.
Legacy Wrestling is going to be ran like a independent promotion, shows will be held on Monday's with the role play deadline being on Sunday at 11pm central. This will still remain bi weekly. As far as results, they will be summarized until we hire more writers.
ALL pic bases & Themes must be available.
Our new feature that will be coming in with Legacy Wrestling, The Honor Wrestling Performance Center. What is it? This is completely Out Of Character (OOC) Where it's treated as 'In Ring' training. It's basically intense role play feedback (Not like the one where anyone can give it) as well as help with your angle or feuds; intense role play feedback will entail complex character and story-line break down, along with assistance for character direction and potential feuds; this side of our developmental program is open to everyone in both feds, at any time. We will have set 'Trainers' where you will be able to go to for help in anything you are seeking help with. We will have roughly two or three trainers with a guest trainer once a month. The guest trainer is likely to be someone outside of the fed or it could be someone in the fed such as a champion. The purpose of the Performance Center is to ensure everyone is understanding the styling and direction of the fed and how you can change/improve/grow your writing and role play style to really achieve everything you want to during your 'career' with us.
